hi all!long story short, I replaced the steering gear box on my Fronty to take care of stiff steering problem. that one's solved, but now, turning the wheels to the right, won't go all the way to the stop. turning to the left is just fine. I think I messed up on the relay arm re-install. How do I recover? Denny

i beleive that the pitman arm has 4 mating slots(that only line up one way) to line up with the gear box to align the relay arm. is there a alignment groove on the steering column shaft to gear box? if not maybe you just have them misaligned.

hi there:Thanks for your reply. Got the problem solved. I was actually off a tooth when I re-install the pitman arm to the steering gear box. You're right on the four slots on the pitman arm. The spline on the steering gear box however, doesn't have any provisions for that. It's just a regular spline (no (4) skipped tooths), so the pitman arm can go any which way. Sorry, my mistake for referring to the pitman arm as relay arm on my original post. Thanks again for the reply and please see my other post on a ride height problem and help me out.Denny
