98 Frontier Ka24de air bag light question

One day I just turned on my truck and noticed the air bag light was flashing, Could anyone give me an idea of where I should look to solve this problem, its a big drag driving at night

Was the battery low at any point before that? Did it crank slow when you tried to start it? I am thinking its possible it has a control unit code. But I have also seen the switch and indicator for the passenger air bag cause a code. That usually happems when the trim around the radio is removed and reinstalled, like when adding a radio.

I did remove the trim the other day around the radio area. is there anyway to check for trouble codes for the switch and indicator for the pass. side? And battery is still good

And when you did you probably unplugged the switch and the indicator light to do it. Then cycled the key to the on position with them unplugged? Try disconnecting the battery overnight and see if the light is still on in the morning.
