I have been google'n info on it and I found some nice work some subaru guys did, I was going to do something like that and then use that for a "Mold" for the Carbon Fiber. I found some great sites for the supplies and there is no end to the dyi vids xD Any body have some informational sites on the aerodynamic effects of a rear diffuser in automotive applications? With the light rear of the A/C I dont want up draft, but I dont like my bumper being a parachute

You could do Carbon Fiber Vinyl, it looks amazing and will be alot easier that wrapping it for real. Plus you can always take it off with the vinyl. Which is a huge plus. PM me if your interested or have any questions. Or email me at [email protected]

I had the CF 3M vynal as a roof overlay. Loved the stuff but I still ended up paining it, used the vynal to wrap odd ball parts. Just didt look right, for my stylings. It ended up costing me the same just to paint it so i said "Go fo it!"

That's why I dont use the 3M I use Oracal 975 series. They are twice the cost of the 3M and lasts twice as long. Plus it feels like real CF and has the appearance of it.

Brother, I have seen every post and pic you have on your work and it is awesome. I have been to Oracals web site, and I have seen all the cool shyt they have. I love it all! I would LOVE to have my whole care Wraped!! BUT, I but 12k down on the car when I got it, and I have sunk almost another 12k into all the goodies for it. I have only had this car for 11 1/2 months. There comes a time, when you have to step back and say "time to stop to smell the roses. The car has been in different shops almost as much as its been in my drive way. I'm Driving my baby this summer no matter what. I plan on keeping this one longer than my 350z http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3818088/2003-nissan-350z Yes thats my name. Laugh it up now...get it out of your system :lolling: With that in mind, Lets save the blue guages, vynal wrap, diffuser, dual projectors, ect, for future fun :woot:

A) My bad,I didt elaborate on what I ment when I said, "DIY Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser" I ment that the DYI item that I want to make, will have a finished product similar look too these, except with a more than just the looks......:

I want it to be functional. What I need is better info on the aerodynamics side. Post links if you got'em. I am NOT going to go this far:

But from the axle area, back to the "parachute" that the manufacturers call, "Rear Bumper Cover"

B) Yes. I was worried a little about if some things would be done in time, but its fine for now. I have to take a break and enjoy it. I'm comming. I will take an act of God to stop me, cuz I know the cops cant. :ohsnap

Its the AIT CF trunk. Fits perfectly, had all the cutouts for the lighs and truck-opener-button already, light as a feather. I think integrated spoiler was one of the best damn ideas! :dblthumb:

Haha many requests for that info! You saw them here 1st!!! :woot: GO NICO!

20” x 8.5” Giovanna Kilis +38 offset

245/35/20 Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

NO spacers

NOTE: The best price I found online was for a "Staggered" set, I had to call and then talk to a manager to order me a non-staggered set. I had to have the V12 tires too so it limited my options on who to buy from cuz I wanted it all delivered together.

have you tried?
http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/

You might have to call them like I did, but they were helpfull in getting want I wanted. I am not sure where whey ship from, CA maybe? I live in Va. Everything came with out damage, but some of the weights fell off one in shipping, but I always balance new tires anyways so it was no prob.
