im just curious to know if i can swap out the 2-piece headlights in a '98 altima to the 1-piece headlights off of a 2000 altima? the body styles are identical form what i can tell except for the headlights...which is what id like to swap out. is this possible??

Yes!

You can... the only mod that you need to do is split & rewire the wires of the corners (00 - 01 altimas use 4 bulbs 2 for conering and 2 for main lights in stead of only 2 for the 98-99 lights) and also cut a little piece metal where the 98 corner was attached.
