p.s. I think the "patent" idea is off-base, in all seriousness.

Think of all the body kits that have been "ripped off' that are on the market... Really no sense in buying the original when you can get a pretty decent copy for 1/10th of the investment.

Those fenders are HUGE!! Looks like a drag car, only, I reeeaaalllly don't think that engine will have the balls to even come close to spinning those tires. I always thought the S14 would look sexier if the fenders had a little more flare, but nowhere near that much. Patent away my friend.

Sorry if i pushed your buttons the wrong way, mp. Its cool though that your skilled with metal working, my dads been in the tool and die buiness for close to 30 years now and metal is so much more difficult to play with compared to fiberglass. For that i give you props. If your widening the front fenders i think it would look better. My brothers sc300 its wide as a mother in the back fenders and tapers down near the doors and bumps back out in the front some, and i love that car. crap i'm wrambling.....

Seriously though, it's really hard to tell if that looks any good with pics that size. If you're really concerned about someone stealing your design, well... ok. But I don't think that posting reasonable size pics will cause a problem.

True. You really can't "patent" such a thing. And even if you do, you can't protect it.

Look at the kits offered on ebay (hell, look at the ones our sponsor Raceon sells).

All copies, and there ain't a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Ahh, no more all caps ^_^ I'm just not a fan of that super wide looking fenders. That's why I'm not a big fan of the 350Z rear end, just looks funny to me. And LOL, I like the subtlety of the pic name "bluesuitgirlwithbigbreast.jpg" haha, doesn't get any clearer than that. Well good luck to you, post pics after it's been painted too.

Oh and I will look into buying some of those Earl's braided SS brake lines. Always wanted them just because my name's Earl so I can get stickers advertising my car
