98 240sx/Silvia Bumper Support

hi there,
I'm having difficulties with my bumper support. When i bought the car, it did not have a front bumper support. Its a 98 Silvia (yes RHD silvia) and I bought a front bumper for a 98 240sx (or so i was told it was from that).

this is what it looks like when i try to mount it up



the bumper doesnt line up with the top piece.

this is the piece that came with the bumper support


and this is the support itself



did the guy sell me the wrong support or is the 240sx bumper support different than the silvia bumper support?

when i line it up with my fenders, it lines up like it does in the first pic.

when i put the thin piece on the bumper support, 2 bumper tabs dont line up with the ones on the thin piece.


the red ones line up but the rest dont.

the problem is pretty much in the first pic. it seems like the support goes too far in (towards the engine bay)

the ends of the bumper are lined up where its supposed to be with the fenders in the pic, but it doesnt line up in the middle

Maybe is bent.

ahh. nifty. but if i get that, will that also fix my spacing issue from the bumper support to the bumper cover?
