i dont want a "system" i just want good crisp sound throughout the car. So i guess my question is what components am i going to need? i havent actually looked at the speakers in my car yet (just bought it very recently) and right now its snowing like mad dont feel like being out in a freezing car figured id ask people that would know first hand.

other thread (had this posted in wrong section) said stocks were 6.5's. id imagine there are just 2 on the back dash and 2 in the doors then? 4 6.5's id imagine then... pretty sure there were no tweaters what-so-ever.

Also im pretty sure im going to go with some Infiniti Kappa's. Had those components in my old car and they were fantastic. anybody prefer anything else and why? the headunit im putting in is an alpine CDA-9856... (16RMS/50peakx4channel) mostly want that specific model just cause its the lowest end that can play MP3's and WMA's as well as hook up an ipod lol.

Kappa is a good line. I would go ahead and get a real 50x2 amp (or more) for the Kappa fronts and run the rear off the standard headunit outputs.
