You can search the site. All of been done. RB20/25/26 being the most done/easiest compared to the V6 ones. But VQ35 is also pretty popular.

Its all your preference. Do some more research for it and compare them by preference, cost, and difficulty.

You could always turbo a KA.

2JZGTE to big single turbo powah all day.

A turbo KA can put a lot of d!cks in the dirt if properly tuned and setup. I've seen turbo KA's walk over "Near Stock " RB's all day long.

The turbo woosh maybe, but you can't make "any motor" sound like an RB. Best sounding of all the I-6's and possibly one of the best sounding engines in the world. Of course that was a horrible clip and all you could really hear was the turbo so I get what you're saying.

Hehee. Yeah 1900hp should net you a better time except in the 2JZ world.

Couldn't quite tell, but wasn't that an 1/8th mile? If so, the trap speed is hugely impressive, but the ET is.... well my funny picture up there speaks for itself. I think thats the point you were trying to make wasn't it? If not, sorry. I've had a few... :toast:

1/4 mile. Yes Supras are known to be dyno queens . Even though this stroked 3.4 liter threw a rod on the track a few passes later, it was one hell of a build and lasted for like 3 years. I'm sure they will be building another block that will be a lot faster. Turbo is bigger than my entire chest lol. I believe it is a T6 which makes my T3 T70 look small lol. There is some clips inside the car where you can hear the rod knock before and during the staging.

OH, now that I'm sober I see what threw me on the first clip, the way he zooms the camera in as the car goes down the strip, making the finish line/time displays look a lot closer than they actually are. Credit where its due though, thats properly quick, no matter what kind of engine you're using.

I do not recommend the vg30dett swap if you don't want to spend serious time and money lol. I am getting close on finishing mine up but not a single part of it has been bolt on or easy. This isn't my first motor swap either but by far the most complicated. Either stick an SR in it and call it a day or if you insist on going different motor get one with support. IE mount kits, wiring harness or some form of write up and some forum help goes a long ways trying to figure out issues.

RB25DET. Faster then stock and easy to install. By the correct parts and its a bolt in affair.

 Yeah... except for the speedometer and the wiring harness and the heater hoses and the radiator hoses and the throttle linkage etc etc...

There is nothing simple or easy about swapping the engine from one car into a different car. There will always be little things like these that people never tell you about that you will run into if you actually try it for yourself. Be prepared for unforeseen issues...

I thought about RB but I couldn't justify the cost vs. performance over an SR. I was debating between those 2 for a long time and decided I wanted something different. If you are prepared for the work then go whichever way you want. I am just telling you the VG is NOT bolt in. The RB is alot easier if you have the parts but it is not plug n play either. You want an easy swap put an SR in it.
