I have a 98 240SX automatic. If it sits any longer than 10 to 12 hours it will bog down after start-up. I'll start the engine, the rpm will rise to about 2,500 then drop off dead in the driveway. I usually compensate by revving the engine and after 5 seconds its fine. Please help.. THANKS

welcome to nico

i would start by checking for a leaky injector and setting your base idle.

I had a feelin it was either the fuel, or air intake system. My knowledge is a little restricted on this subject, could you please point me in the right direction (tools/procedure)? The only changes I've made so far are a K&N drop-in air filter and the Tornado fuel saver, the box said something about disconnecting the battery to reset the computer. It fit better next to the butterfly "wrong place" than it did next to the filter box "right place", but after a little elbow grease and a butter knife it went in. In all honesty I haven't noticed a bit of difference, if anything it seems like it caused the problem.
