Hey guys, I have a green 98 LE 5 speed and i have been planning on making it a project for a while, but it is looking like this just won't happen. I have checked around in the paper, but cannot find any others for sale :( It has 98,xxx mikes and is completely virgin. No mods ever. Paint is in great shape. There is only 1 small part on the front bumper that get pinched and the paint chipped a little and the interior is in good shape also.

What is this thing worth?

Thanks,

-Dustin

GO TO THE BLUEBOOK SITE KBB.COM AND THEN TAKE AWAY ABOUT $500 AND THATS WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT.

YOU COULD PROBABLY GET MORE THAN $10500 IF THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. BUT HONESTLY I WOULDN'T PAY MORE THAN 7.5 FOR IT BUT THATS ME. BUT SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY ARE SO RARE THAT THEY SHOULD DROP TONS OF CASH ON IT.

poeple in AZ ask 6k for less than steller '92s. And they seem to be getting pretty close to it too cus the prices just keep climbing and climbing. It's all about the market where you live.

YEAH I KNOW AZ, PEOPLE SUCK. MY 90 WAS $3400. 2 WEEKS AFTER IT HAD A BLOWN ENGINE, CLOGGED CAT, DAMAGED RADIATOR, ITS BEEN IN AN UNREPORTED ACCIDENT, RIMS WERE BENT AND CRACKED, TRANSMISSION WENT. YEAH SO I GOT ABOUT 4K EXTRA INVESTED IN THIS PILE OF CRAP.

my friend payed 10,500 for his 98 SE and it is pretty much mint and 56,000 miles on it. It has all the stuff that makes it worth more too like sunroof and white paint and bla bla fully loaded. if yours is anywhere similar to that you could tack a little more onto the price cause its manual.

try http://www.autotrader.com. You can look for cars that are actually for sale. That should give you the most realistic price. Make sure you account for options and condition, mileage, etc. It's better to try an limit the search to your locale, but a 98 240 can be a farely rare find so I usually look accross the country.

I did a search "any distance" on trader online for 98 240sx 5 speed and found three for sale. If I were going to sale my car it would be for 13K..........
