I have 1998 240sx 5 spd. It always takes me more than 20 cranks to start the car in the morning during cold start. When the engine is hot, the problem disappeared. Any suggestion?

Check your battery........trust me on this one. It happen to me, if the battery voltage is barely low to "kick in" your computer (specially in the morning) it takes a while to start. During the day (or warmed up)it starts fine becuause there is enough voltage on the system. My 240 SX was brand new and started doing this, the dealer replaced everytihng from sensors,etc.... at the end somebody thought about a new battery and Voila!!! a new interstate took care of the problem.....

Good luck!
