98 200sx weird buzzing noise on highway

i recently got my wife a neat little 200sx but it has a very unusual problem i have never encounterd before.when you hit about 60 mph something under the dash starts a very annoying buzzing sound. drop below 55 or 60 and it stops.i havent had time to tear into the dash yet to see if i can find anything. anybody ever heard of such a thing?

does it sound like a buzzing noise or a really fast vibration? One thing i have come not to like about my nissan is everything vibrates!! Its so annoying, I've had to pull parts and or brace them to stop them from making noise. your best bet is to rip out the dash and try to locate the noise.

its more of a buzzing than a vibration. does it around 60mph no matter what gear you are in.almost sounds like some type of warning buzzer or other mechanical warning sound.very wierd i assure yu.would drive yu nuts on a trip.
