I am looking into swap out my 1998 Nissan 200sx SE-R motor, but i am having difficulty deciding which motor to go with. What motor do you recommend?

It depends on what you want. There are so many options.

What do you intend to use the car for? How do you want it to act (quick off the line, maximum hp/top end, simple yet quick, etc)?

reliable everday ride, with the max hp i can get. I want the car thats a sleeper, simple but quick .

Reliability and max hp don't mix too well.

That said, a good-condition Bluebird or Avenir motor with a GTi-R T28 or a "disco potato" and upgraded manifold is going to be your best bet. Add a good FMIC setup, boost controller, exhaust, and solid tuning and you'll be in the 250-300whp range reliably, which is all you'd ever want in a car you drive every day. FWD cars aren't much fun when they have too much power to turn (or go straight, for that matter).
