I've found a set of 99 front seats in much better shape than mine. Any idea if plugging them in is going to be an issue?

I know the 2000 passenger seat has all the accroutements of the driver's seat. So if you don't have the power, it may be a problem.

There were no non-power seats on any 2nd gen. The 8 way adjustable drivers and two way were standard on the 97' base model and was included in the base price. So the question is did they change the mounting points which I believe the answer is no. Now not everyone had heat, so if you have heat and those don't have it than obviously you lose that feature.

I would guess from having seen them you could do a straight over swap.

I haven't done the swap but have looked at both a 97 and 99 and they look identical. Only issue might be side airbags if your 97 doesn't have them since the 99 seats do. Not that much changes-just from no side bags to side bags that don't work-something to tell the next buyer.

good luck-A
