I've heard it's probably the TPS. Does someone have a link to testing the ohms of the TPS?
More specifically have heard it is probably the white wire getting shorted, bad TPS or not set correctly?

How many miles on it? Has the ATF been changed? Could be a throttle position sensor or any number of things unfortunately.

I really want to test the TPS and am looking for a link to do that and rule it out; anybody?

Is the CEL on? First thing you need to do is get the codes. There should be a code for the TPS if there is an issue detectable by the ECU.
For the "link" download the FSM from this site, there is a procedure there.

Thank you for the answer. I usually don't use these forums because the posts go on forever down too many rabbit trails never reaching a solution. I found the FSM you spoke of.
