I have a radiator leak and my heater won't blow. Are these two related? My heater only blows on the freeway going 60mph after the HVAC has turned on. I have tried the AC on full power going 60 and switching to the heater on full power, and back and forth. That has helped a little bit, but the heater won't blow when its idling. Is there a bubble in the system or something? Please advise.

Since you started this 2nd thread and edited the question in your original thread I'll follow with the answer I posted an hour ago (in the other thread).

Patience grasshopper.

Is the engine having trouble staying cool in stop-n-go traffic? Check to see if the fan is operating at idle. I'm not sure if yours is electric or belt driven with a fan clutch.

Is the engine taking a long time to warm in the morning? Thermostats fail in the open position so depending where you live (MN?) it may not be warming until you hit steady RPMs on the freeway. Heater coils need hot coolant running through them to work properly

It could be air in the coolant system or a plugged heater core if you've ever put any stop leak additives in.

Get the engine warm and see if you can find a shop that will plug in an OBD-2 consult cable and tell you the coolant temp, a 2 minute check. If it's not running at about 180 degrees or higher the thermostat is probably the culprit.

Good luck.
