97 Q45 Vibration/Noise

I've got a 97 Q45 with a weird noise/vibration that appeared rather suddenly. I ran over a brick/rock/anvil? at night, blew the right front tire and bent the rim. I bought a new (used) rim, new tire (same brand) and installed them. However, since then this noise began at the LEFT front tire. It sounds exactly like a 4X4 tire roar or a tire that's underinflated. I had the tires rotated, balanced and the car aligned and its still there. It gets worse when turning to the right (left suspension compressed) and is loudest when turning right and braking. I almost positive that the noise was not there before the blown tire, but I've only owned the car a couple of weeks. Car has 195,000 miles and drives like 50,000. Any ideas?

Sounds like a possible bad wheel bearing on the left side.

Jack it up on that corner and check for play/roughness at the wheel rim.

I agree.. however you may not be able to tell really well until you get the caliper and rotor off.....

195,000 miles, EVERYONE who has seen/ridden in the car cannot believe the miles. Trans has the 2nd/3rd shift delay but feels normal if you're new to the car. If I had the patience I'd like to drive it 500,000 but I get restless with cars.

I thought it was a wheel bearing, but I swear it started in a day. Weird. I'm going to sit on it and wait for a change in noise/volume to confirm.

UPDATE! Replaced front left wheel bearing and rotated that tire to the back and still have the noise, any ideas?

Did you check your tie rods/ball joints?
