97 Q45 transmission cooler question

Which transmission cooler line is the "outlet" on a 97+ Q45? Driver's or passengers side of the radiator?

I plan on adding a transmission cooler today on the outlet side, is that correct?

As I remember, inlet is passenger side.

disconnect one line at radiator while helper starts car and you watch the disconnected line- if atf rushes out of rad side you have found the return line,if atf rushes out the rubber hose side,you have found the inlet side-have helper shut off motor as soon as you determine the above!
