Hi all

My friend has the same exact year & model car with me a 1995 Q45 (different colors). Recently her tape deck just died.

She has located an AM/FM/Cass/CD from a 97 Q45 and was wondering if this would easily go in her 1995 Q45?

Does she have to run new wires or converters, adapters, mounts etc?

ThanksBarb,

I put a 97 unit in my 90Q and the only thing required was a $30 harness adapter from Factory Car Stereo repair (407) 830-0777. Check out their website at http://www.carstereohelp.com. They were very good to deal with and the installation took less than 1 hour.

and the 97 head unit worked with 90 amps?

The entire project was "plug and play"--fit perfectly with existing template and worked fine with the 90 amps. The only diff was the tape player controls (fast forward, next track) for the new unit actually control the CD player now.
