'97 q45 rear-end output shafts

the q45 section seems to be too quiet over there, but I'll try this here:

has anyone swap out the 1997+ q45 rear end output shaft with the ones from the 1991-1996? since the 1997+ newer has a 5 bolt flange output shaft, i don't have both in front of me, but can some one confirm this!?

They are not interchangeable. The G50 diff has 6x1 flanges like the Z32 TT and GTR because the spline count going into the diff is actually greater as well. This makes the diffs in those cars stronger.

Your diff is interchangeable with Z32 NA, J30, S13, S14, and all of the output flanges will swap as long as they are from a diff with a viscous LSD.
