So, I bought a 97 Q45, and one of the rear deck speakers is missing. There's just a hole. So my question is, what's my best option? As I understand it the rear deck speakers have a built in amp that's attached to the speaker itself. So, what should I replace it with? I can't seem to track down any used ones, and you can't get them new. Do I need a separate amp for these two speakers?

You are either going to hvae to go aftermarket or find one in a junk yard. You will need an amp if you can't find a factory replacement speaker.

Well, that was the question. So, if I replace one with an aftermarket, I have to do both, because they will need a seperate amp? Andy didn't have a speaker, but I located one in San Diego, so we'll see if it works or not. If not, I'll be going aftermarket. I found a few options on Crutchfield for 6.5 woofers, because I don't want to put a big box in the trunk. The trunks are small as it is.
