97 q45 inition coil problem, car does not have power like it should...my car has 75000 miles on it I am the original owner. ever since my 60000 mile service, it has not run the same. Either it accelarates slowly , the motor feels as if it is spuddering, bucking in a way..The dealer looked at it and told me it would cost me 8 new coils.I asked how could they all be bad? maybe one or two? How about the boots on those coils...could they go bad?HelpThanks Mario

Hmm, this is a clue. Wouldn't be surprised to find a disturbed hose or sensor connector somewhere. Odd coincidence. Have them check it with a Consult, as long as they seem so completely mystified.

8 new coils, my azz. Nu uh.
