97 Q45 honks briefly when turning off ignition

I've had my Q since November and have been having a problem where the horn honks briefly after I turn off the ignition and begin to pull out the key. If I leave the key in the horn will continue with a continuous honk until I pull it out. Any suggestions?

And it doesnt do it all the time, but goes in spurts every couple of weeks.

How old is your battery? Do you have an aftermarket alarm?Maybe there is some sort of electrical short in the steering column?

I think the car is angry you're shutting it off.

The battery is only about a year old and it only has the stock alarm on it.

What are the conditions that causes that to happen?

Do you think that any wires are getting wet?
