I am wondering if the hubs or spindles are different in the pre 96 Q's vs. the 97 to 2000 Q's? The big brake kits from Stillen, Brembo, AP, etc. stop at 1996 for some reason. Is this simply an error with the part specs? My car in non-active suspension with a simple traction control button.

Stillen does the big brake for the 97, see this link. Now coming up with the 6 grand to do front and rear, that's the hard part!!!!

Thanks guys, however, I spoke with Stillen last week and they said that their numbers stop with 96. They are checking with Nissan direct to see if it's O.K. Stillen has the AP's, so in the meantime, I called Brembo direct. They don't make them for 97+ either, which is why I thought that something could be strange after 96. I checked Baer brakes (none), Wilwood brakes (none), and about a half down other race brake companies without luck.

By the way. My "down" should say "dozen". Anyway, LAQ, I have been using a variety of mechanics because I have not yet found one expert race mechanic for the Q-ship. I have used Stillen's crew and they seem to be good for most bolt-on stuff. I haven't asked them to pull my motor to do bore and stroke jobs, but they seem O.K. so far. I have a shop and guy in Pasadena that I use and they build hot rod U.S. V8's. He's been great so far, but he's kind of old school and all the new electronics piss him off (not hat he can't do it, I just don;t want to piss him off). Quite frankly, I'm a little scared of what a "real" Infiniti racing mehanic will charge, so my quest has been shallow. What I do is just have specialists for each particular modification do the work. I will keep you posted if I find the holy grail...
