97 pickup the brake and battery light came on this morning

and did not come off however it will come of some times when engine is rev. over 3.5k what is wrong PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

sounds like an alternator or a bad ground somewhere

I think it the alternator too but the light arn't dim at all and it was driven about 60 miles after it happened

stranger things are known to happen id get it checked out reguardless

The brake light might be coming on because you're low on fluid (happens as brake pads and shoes wear down). Check your fluid level there. You may have two issues unrelated to one another.
