So here's my story: 'bout three weeks ago the remote entry stopped working. I changed batteries in the fob, and tried with a second fob we have -- no luck. Disconnected main battery for >30 min. tried to reprogram. Nothing. So, looked under the hood and found in the fuse block on driver's side -- two relays that had "remote" abbreviations. I think (?) these may be relays or fusible links...

So my questions: I couldn't figure out how to dislodge the relays to see if they were operational -- do they require a tool, and is that easy to get?

Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Is there a system fuse or fusible link that may have burned out, shutting off my remote access system.

Notes: Vehicle is '97 Pathfinder SE.electronic door lock system is working fine No signs of life when any of the key fob buttons are pushed (eg: pushing lock, unlock simultaneously to change notification)Also no signs when trying to reprogram (putting key in 6-7 times etc)

--thanks !

For the record (and to help others in the future). Took it to the dealership and in about 30 seconds, the service rep there reprogramed the fob ... (inserting and removing the key 7 times/10 sec.. etc.) Works fine now...
