97 pathfinder brakes lock up when towing

Towing 17.5 boat when road is wet at about 25mph I tested the brakes and the fronts locked up real easy. Everything is good according to my mech. I have towed boats for years and never had this happen. thanks

maybe the front of the truck is lifted too high due to weak rear suspension sagging with the boat attatched, thus putting not much weight on the front wheels? just a thought.

have you ever checked the rear load sensing valve? Theres a small spring loaded valve up by the rear spare, that adjusts the braking power to the rear wheels depending on how much weight is put on the rear of the R50. Im guessing yours might be out of adjustment right now?
