97' Nissan Sentra. Do I have a problem with my cv joint?

Well, I bought a 1997 Nissan Sentra and it has a problem. Every time the Vehicle moves a noise that I can only describe as a metal to metal kind of noise. Then with further inspection, I noticed that the passenger's rhoder is loose and kind of flops.

question 1. Do I have a drive shaft problem or just the CV joint?

question 2. Do I have to change Both sides drive shafts or....?

One of those or your suspension isn't connected properly. Reach in there and start shaking things, see what moves.
