I own a 1997 Nissan 200sx and I absolutely love it, but recently I've been having some trouble with my warning lights. Whenever I accelerate my battery and brake warning lights flicker on and off. Also once in a while my speedometer lights will go off while I'm driving, usually with those I adjust the dimmer for a few seconds then they pop back on. I can't seem to figure out what is making the warning lights flicker on and off though. I played around with some of the fuses and some ground wires but nothing did the trick...please help!!!

that sounds like a alternator going bad. i have seen quite a few do it. many aftermarket alternators do it from day one. the second prob is prob a bad dimmer switch. very common prob.
