Whats the best cold air intake as far as performance vs money, maybe hp/$$ if you want to be specific?

All the aftermarket intake are the same on a daily driver. Most intakes are no diff from the next. aluminum intakes do get hot from engine bay heat. and make the density lower. and the plastic ones do the same. Unless you are going to go high proformance. Then radial bent and custom weilded ones are the best

and as for HiFlow cones K&N's last the longest 1 million miles and most others last for 100,000 miles.

short rams will give you the best responce all around and cold air will give you low responce at lower RPMs but great gains at high RPMs

If you want the best proformence wrap your headers with heat tape and get a hood with some kind of gills or induct to let more air movement to drop the temp under the hood and this will give you the best low and high with a short ram(recommended for daily drives)
