I am about to buy a ecu for my 97 240 since I swaped it to manual. How can I tell the ecu is for a manual. The ecu is C6 A18-E28 G77 I also looked at the chart on JWT but it was not on there.

meh, he's in florida, not like it'll matter. unless of course he relies on the cel to tell him something isn't right.

I know I have been riding around with the auto ecu for a year now. I just want the engine check light to go off and for it to idle better.

Remove Bulb From Cluster, Adjust Throttle Screw.

Tada!

Plus No Limiters With Auto Ecu.

Still Won't Mind Just Buying A Cheap One That Pops Up Tho.

I know I can just pull the bulb out and adjust the iacv. But I would rather spend $25 on the ECU verus 1hr 1/2 pulling the gauge cluster and adjusting the iacv. I just want to know wether the ECU I am about to buy is manual.

That's A Pretty Long Time, Do You Only Have 1 Arm?

But Yea I Agree, Rather Just Pick Up A Bargain One.
