97 j30 diff?

I've searched around and from what i can see there's some unknown differerence between the late94-96 j30(3x2 bolt pattern) vlsd which is direct bolt into 240sx and the one from a 97 model. couldnt find if anyone had used one successfully, just seeing if anyone knew the difference and if it would cause problems or if i need to get the axles too like 92 through early94 j30 vlsds?
