97 I30 dash/gauge lamp replacement source?

I have read endless forums about LED conversions and such, but is there a reputable source for replacing the micro-bulbs in the automated climate control with OEM lamps without spending $25 a piece at the dealership?

I would consider LEDs only if the product is proven to be dimmable, not spot/bleed unevenly or flicker.

p.s. Some help on the size and fitment would be useful as well.

Seems this is the part: DORMAN 639010 Part #2626201P40 mini 3 watt ( http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-639-010-In ... B009VUAD5W ) I am going to order them and will report back on everything you might want to know. Not sure where to get the little blue sleeve which goes over the lamp, but I will keep looking and keep those interested posted. Stay tuned...

For you cheapskates out there; there should be a dial knob to reduce the brightness of the bulbs and hence extend their life

True. I'm too cheap to pay $25 a bulb, but not cheap enough to dim the lights. And I run my lights all the time; If the car is on my lights are on. But it wouldn't matter anyway, since all 5 of the climate control lamps were toast when I bought the car.

Update: the lamps mentioned above don't fit the I30 auto climate control. But I'm not done trying! I'll be back with info on my next attempt.
