Ok, this may be a stupid question so bear with me..
I tried to change my lightbulbs to 100w Xenon's, but I had the wrong size. In the process of attmpeting to change the lights, my functioning lightbulb doesnt work anymore...do H1 bulb's blow real easy or did I put it back in wrong?
I looked and didn't see any breakage in the bulb wire, but the glass was scratched up from me fidgeting with it trying to get it out.
When it put it back in I just jammed the bulb in the only way it would go and hooked in the retainer clip..
Looked at the manual and apparently they didnt update it for the new lights..
Anyone else with 97-98 have this problem?
Anyone else buy the H4 bulbs instead of the H1's cuz the manual's wrong?

I'd refrain from putting in a higher wattage bulb. It not only posaes more heat to the housing, but also the wiring. If the wiring is not sufficient enough to handle the load, it will overheat and may cause an electrical fire.
I'm a little confused by your post though. Did you attempt to put in H4's or H1's? You weren't real clear.

I bought the wrong size(H4) cuz of the manual, and I was in the process of putting the bulb in and saw that the bulbs were obviously the wrong size. So I was putting the original bulb(H1) back in because it still works and all, and then it didnt. Just wondering if the bulbs blow easily or I installed it wrong somehow..
