hey guys need some help with my aunt's altima. it's been sitting for about a year since she's gotten a new car.
its a 97 altima automatic
breakdown: before she left it to sit, the car threw a knock sensor code which has been replaced. also, at freeway speeds, RPM's would intermittently drop.
presently: went to start it up today just to check it out but it wouldn't turn over. im thinking it could be no fuel? there is gas in the tank though, but is it possible that it has gone bad? how do i go about checking for fuel?

also, what are some general things that should be done after a car has been sitting for this long?
:gotme

make sure battery is fully charged (put it on a trickle charger for a few days)
i would first check the fuel pressure after the filter. should be at least 35 psi with key on (pump running).
check the distributor for the infamous oil tracking.

when you get it running change all fluids, even powersteering and brake.

Won't crank or would fire?
