97-98 s14 resale values?

I been looking to pickup a s14, trying for 97-98 (would take any year if its in good shape and the price is right).

Where do some of these sellers on autotrader get their prices for 97-98 se? I see most of them want 11-12k and kbb and edmunds list the price from 7800-9800. Any ideal why?

i gave 11500 for my 98 se with 66k original on it. and i was happy to part with the cash. the car is clean...

Right now edmunds and blue book have not taken into consideration the rarity of the 97-98 240, especially a SE / LE / manual, and that everybody wants one. You are going to pay a substantial amount over their value if you want a nice one.
