yeah, they'll swap right in, its real easy to do as well. They have a c/f background as well as more little ticks (lines) to tell you how fast you are going. Aside from that, I don't see much of a difference. What are you going to pay for the gauges?

I never even thought that the '97-'98 would be different. I have a '95 and have never seen a '97/'98 cluster. Can anyone post a pic so I can seem what I'm missing?

Thanks--I still can't tell the difference (aside from the kilometers/miles thing) between that and my '95.

What's the "360 degrees" usage all about? I don't suppose someone has side-by-side comparisons of both (preferably US versions)...

95-96 have the RPM and Speedo gauges shoved together. Take a look at the middle on your 95.... It's not two complete circles. Also, the 6500 redline is just right of top center. On the 97-98 the gauges are completely independant of each other. The speedo reading goes almost all the way aroung the gauge face, and the 6500 rpm redline is about 3 o-clock.

Okay, thanks... I'd like to see this later gauge. I bet it looks cool. I know what you mean about the "shoved together" gauges on the '95.

Cam, your gauges look just like mine! You have more lines (ticks) on your RPM gauge, but not on your speedo. Funny, but my buddy with a 97 had more lines on his speedo, I believe!

No offense Ben, but this mod will be pretty expensive, and it will hardly be noticed by anyone. Do you currently have white face gauges? If not, then I see your reasoning, but if you do, its kind of a waste of money IMO. A cluster will set you back at least $100 used, and I'm pretty sure it will be tough to locate one. And brand new.....

I looked at Cam's picture again, and now I see the two distinct gauge circles with the tach benefitting from the "full circle". After looking at them, I think I almost prefer the '95 version with the more ovalish (just slightly) gauges and the overlapping bit.

Oh well. An interesting distinction, though.

well yea i figured it would be expensive and stuff, i didn't expect to be gettin the swap anytime soon anyway. i just like the '97-'98 guages better, so one of these days if i don't really have much of anything i wanna do to my car i thought i might could swap the guages. and yes i do have white faced guages already.

hey man, to each, his own, just kinda seemed like a waste to me, thats all. The kind of money you will have to spend, you can probably get the backlit gauges, or get a custom overlay to go over your existing gauges, just suggestions, but it may look better to go after market and cost you less money.

just me
