97 240sx trany wiring?

Hey I have a 97 240sx (obd2) and I swapped it to a manual transmission. Right now I have none of the transmission wires hooked up to my wiring harness. The only side effects of that are I have no reverse light and no speedometer. So my question is how do you wire an automatic wiring harness to a manual transmission? If anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be great.

get the manual harness it's like 70 bucks new from dealership. without the harness you'll be draining off your battery.

Will the auto ecu work fine with the manual harness? I didnt know the harness was so cheap at a dealership.

auto harness is different from manual.

I bought my new transmission harness from Midway parts when Dan was still there. Ask for Mike Jones from Midway parts team. He's now my OEM parts guy. Dunno how much it'll cost for your particular application but the transmission harness is pretty cheap compared to what some of these guys are asking for it used.
