Does anyone know what exactly is in that strange looking appendage right by the compressor? Is it a filter? Cause if it is Ill get a new line to go with the new compressor. Thanx for your time!!!

Well I cut it open finally and just in case anyone ever searches for this question the answer is no it is not a filter so dont worry about changing that line out.
