97 240sx Kouki overdrive problems

I drive an A/T 97 Kouki 240sx. The overdrive feature seems to be stuck. I can not get it to turn off. The button on the shifter works, as in it clicks when i press it down. It worked fine up until recently when it started messing up and would turn on for no reason, then it finally just stayed on. Any ideas on how to fix this?
