i was trying to get dimensions so i could find a similar strut cartridge and make it it work since there are not really any aftermarket cartridge options.

Good luck man, I don't think that is in the cards. You can still get stock ones from dealerships, I finally just trashed all the stock stuff in favor of coilovers.

I don't think this can be done, hopefuly someone can reply and help you but the Y33 CIMA/Q45 was a beast that shared no other Nissan parts bin like the 1st Gen did with 90-96 300ZX

You can convert the suspension to S14 stuff. But you can get coilovers for Y33's for ~$1,000 so not really worth it.
