I am going through the same thing. I got an extension from DVM that ends next month. I got help from an outstanding member of this forum. I am going to dismantle my dash and see if the light is blown. It is funny your having the same problem I'm having. Take the paper to DMV and they will give you an extension. I am going to try to fix the problem this Sunday. If I end up fixing it, I will post how it was done, but you may have more time then I do to check into it.Marv007 wrote:Ican't get my 96Q45 smogged because my check engine light doen't come on when I turn the key on. The light came on fine and threw codes; KS O2 sensors etc. I purchased and installed an Ultimate kit from Joe in Scottsdale. The car runs great; actually it always did, but I can't get it smogged. What do I do now. Please help! wtf I know if they would just stick that pipe up her rear, everything would be fine but they say they can't without the light.
I have never been in the service but my car has been in for service.....LOLOLOLMarv007 wrote:slybydesighn in Sunny San Diego. Is you Q the one that was waiting for you when you got home from the service? I know my light is not blown because it will come on when it throws a code.
It's a pretty recent thread, but I can't remember who started it.Marv007 wrote:maxnix I could have sworn that I've read something about this but I can't find the thread.
