We have serious slipping on turns. The plan is to have our mechanic tear down the rear end, determine parts needs, order from Scottsdale, and then install new parts. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Thanks.

Failure to use oem soft tires is the usual problem. Tire Treadwear index should not exceed 200 reference units!

Hard to find tires soft enough and fast wearing enough to meet oem design..........11 years later.

Rear shocks wear faster than front due to need for higher rebound stiffness, so called expansion rate. Rear shocks are noticeably reboundless after 60k and 4 years of typical use.

I have 128k miles on my '96 Q and neither front nor rears shocks have been changed. In the last service the Q tech said shocks were fine.

Is it possible to have bad shocks and not have them leaking. The ride seems a little more mushy than usual nothing too noticable.

Perhaps because you have not noticed their gardual deterioration?

Find a member with new Tokico blues and you will notice the difference.
