96 s14 wont start

Well i sold my s13 and went to a s14 but the mofo wont start, i changed plugs, charged battery, wires look good, i can hear fuel pump, car wont even start with starting fluid, or push start. Old plugs had a lil oil on them not much. Just wont turn over, kinda wants to start but wont do it. Any suggestions ? all i can think of is fuel filter, or try a push start with the new plugs, dosent sound like starter is bad or anything, and when push starting what gear you recomend using i was using 3rd gear.....

1st gear push start..

Check all relays/fuses..IE: main relay.Check all wires.grounds.battery cable is tight. If you want be sure use a multimeter to check battery voltage.

battery got charged and checked earlier, stupid covers dont show which relay is which, it should click if bad right ?

UPDATE, my friend chigga helped my confirm i have spark and fuel, but prior owner installed a MSD BTM with horrid wiring and i thing ign timing is off, block sounds ok no clunking, just doesnt wanna turn over dosent sound like a mechanical problem but more like a wiring one does anyone have experience with the BTM ?

1. did it work befor you got it?2. did you (unintentionally) put the spark plug wires on in ght wrong order?3. can you blame someone else?

if plugs were in wrong order it would start just run like *** it dosent start at all

not unless their completely bassackward. do you have a spare s14 sitting around that you can steal the ignition coil off of just to see if the current one is bad?

nope i now think its alarm related, cuz alarm light is on sigh i dont have the alarm hwo do i bypass it

to turn the alarm of turn the ignition to on not start just on then flip the toggle switch. the toggle switch should be under the dash or on the kick panel of the drivers side.
