96 s14 with s14 notch top hose question

Ok so this is simpler than i take it im sure but i just wanna make sure its right before i cut these things to length. Does it matter what hose i use to both valves from the engine to the fire wall? im assuming the top hose goes to the top valve and vice versa.

correct top is IN on the firewall and bottom is OUT, on the manifold top goes to top and bottom to bottom

Is there any other modifications that have to be done to the water lines .Ive seen some kits for re routing the s-13 sr20's .

for the s13 i know that theres a kit somewhere... ive seen it on another website. but this is an s14 sr so its not like youve gotta clip and twist the hose to come back to the other side.
