So I drove my car to work and it was running perfectly fine. When driving home, I stopped at the first stop light and my cars idle kept jumping up and down. This happened every other time I stopped, then it started to actually die and I would have to start it back up. It would idle fine right after I started it back up.

On my way to work today it would bog down while I was actually driving. I changed the spark plugs and it looks like my FL75A main fuse is kinda melted. Could this be the problem? Any suggestions?

depending on the miles on the car your egr to intake port may be clogged also the idle air control valve could be dirty/clogged as well.

ok, so how exacly am i suppose to clean my maf sensor? cause it really could be that or the sensor above that, next to my actual intake? help please!

also, playing with the both of them and taking off my intake, my car will only idel to 2500 rpm's? help!

Do these cars have a throttle post. sen. if so i'd check that first if not that then check for vac leaks intake seals fuel pressure. but i would like to know if they do have a tps.

Sounds like TPS but if you can only rev to 2500 that sounds like a MAF.

Thats normal when you take off the maf....Its prob your egr. Are you throwing codes?

fixing your MAF will get your car revving past 2500.also about the fuse you think may be fried its the alternator fuse. So if it was causing all your problems your car wouldn't of been able to start back up when it died since your battery would be dead. But you should get that fused fix for when you do fix your car or your battery will die.

So Ive gotten that fuze , and ive cleaned my MAF, but now it still wont revvv past 2500 rpms. by the way i think i figured out the original problem of bogging because of a clougged cat converter, yet im dealing with this damn rpm s***. HELP! please and thank you!

a clogged cat will couse huge issues..when is the last time you replaced that 15 buck O2 sensor?..that may be one issue running you rich and cloging the cat up...you need to fix that cat as soon as possible..it will limit engine rpm by backpressure to the motor.

check your maf again its keeping you from reving above 2500rpm. if you used any caustic cleaners or damaged the small wire inside it than its likely broken.
