Can someone steer me in the right direction as I have to replace my rear lines really just driver's side, but I figure might as well have both sides done. Only thing I get via searches is sample images & BOT chat assistants.

Are they readily available locally like NAPA or other chain stores or are they kind of hard to get.

Any recommendations from you gurus etc.

Thanks

Try the Infiniti dealer parts department, but be prepared to laugh when they quote you the price.

Never heard of someone having to replace a hard line unless it was damaged, but yep - definitely a salvage yard thing.

I like www.car-part.com for finding obscure parts in junkyards.

Yea I found a 1994 Q @ a yard near here, going Monday. My undercarriage has a lot of corrosion from it's tenure in New York.

Ok so only salvage yard option available was a 1992 not a 1994 the lines were in great shape but had to be shaped to properly fit with the current covers underneath. Thing is, I now have brakes w/ no leaks but the dreaded brake light's still on , not quite topped off w/ fluid as we ran out of fluid when the lines were purged.

My question is being he changed the line configuration is that's what's triggering the light/sensor. I'm going to top it off let set overnight, then if still on I will do a hard reset.

How low is the fluid? Anything below the center seam of the reservoir will set off the light.

Fluid's halfway between the max & seam, I bought some to top off w/ today.

The light's off now, brakes don't seem as responsive as they once were albeit I haven't driven it more than around the block since the repair. I plan to put some miles on it in stop & go traffic today, get the fluid flowing etc.

I assume you did a bleed of the lines when swapping parts to get any air out?
