96 q45 oil level

on the q, checking the oil level,between full and add on the dipstick,does this represent a full quart,or half quart?

from the low line to the top line it is definetly less than a quart, in my expereince of owning 4 G50's.

From extensive experimentation I have determined its approx 2/3rds of a quart.

Fred,confirmed your information today! oil level was half way between full and add on dipstick,12 ounces of Redline,measured in the wife`s new pampered chef thingy,brought level to hair above the full line!not bad,144,000 miles on car-used 11-12 ounces of oil in 4450 miles and 9 weeks!

Why do I suspect that was never mentioned to the wife! I have a special (79 cent from wal mart) measuring cup in my garage, but it's platic and I made the mistake of cleaning with brake parts cleaner... some plastics don't work well with that stuff!
