The quick rundown... I was driving in heavy fog and hit a grocery cart right front side and it broke the headlight cover, completely shatter the corner and damaged the fender.

96 infiniti q45

Problems that occured.
High beams are stuck on constantly when i turn the headlights to on.The high beam indicater light is constantly in lowbeam mode. And i have no illumination in the car (no trim or dash lights)
I read that its the headlight relay or a relay that could of popped according to another thread

high-beams-only-after-accident-95-q45-t405307.html

But I cant find the headlight relay on mine, I did just re read it and it could say illumination relay so ill go back to search for that.
My tail lights are in working order no problem there
Though my high beams are stuck on when i turn on the headlights the low beams are functioning as well just with the high beams so i may just end up unplugging the high beams until i find a solution to this.

Any help would be appreciated
I am also looking for a passenger headlight corner and gold fender

I checked all fuses in the cockpit of the car and every one is fine as well.. I will be replacing the tail lamp bulbs tomorrow to see if this will help with the next step to fixing the high beam issue, This was in the thread i mentioned earlier so hopefully the tail lights fuse and or the lights being blown out will be the issue to the high beams... I will keep update this tomorrow when I get back to working on the car

Yea I guess it was the accident that caused the fuses to blow, I held the brake and left the lights on for an extended period of time with no problems but I'd have to talk to the Q45 engineers who designed the electrical system to understand why tail lamp fuses cause the high beams to stay on.The lady was absolutely thrilled when she picked it up today and I would like to add that I did let her know of the headlamp problem and the responses to my post on this board led to the fix

ok got home late and had to move the car and noticed that the headlights were back to normal and the tail lights were functioning properly. The fuse led to the fix. I wonder why it took a while to fix this or why it didnt right after i changed the fuse, owell thankfully it is fixed now :D

Intermittent short? You might want to check the brake lamp modules anyway for signs of melted wires or bulb sockets. Ditto for the bulbs- use long life (LL) bulbs. I had the same thing happen while changing interior micro bulbs. It was the illumination (ILL) fuse.

I have a turn signal if you still need it.
