96 Q45 balancer

I've got a vibration at about 2k and 4k RPM from the engine. Only feel itat moderate or light throttle, and held so it shifts 1, 2 then drive 3 . Not to D4 overdrive (where the dampening masks the vibration

ANyone had problems with the harmonic balancer? Mine wobbles a little,but belts are tensioned right, and all else seems right.

Thoughts or ideas please!

Wobble is bad, can easily end up being very bad.

Is the main bolt loose?

Sounds like bad motor mounts rather than anything wrong with the engine.

unless it was taken off for a reason, it AINT comin off from the factory!

I agree entirely. (Getting my crankbolt off was a PITA)

But he said his crank wobbles and that can't be good.

I notice mine does the same thing as well..... Not really somthing to worry about IMO, i dont think (i hope not)
